TITLE   : ZMODEM Downloads Do Not Start

This document details how to set up PROCOMM PLUS for Windows 2.x for automatic
ZMODEM downloads.

AUTO DOWNLOADING
If you are connecting to a Bulletin Board System (BBS) or another PC running
PROCOMM PLUS' Host mode, you may want to use ZMODEM to transfer a file with
the other system.  If PROCOMM PLUS for Windows doesn't start a ZMODEM download
once you inform the other system to send a file, but instead a character
stream such as "Š B0000000000" appears in the Terminal mode screen, you simply
may not have configured PROCOMM PLUS for automatic ZMODEM downloads.  Try the
following procedure:

1. At the Terminal window, press <Alt><S> to access the "Setup" menu and
   select "Setup".

2. Select the "Options" Setup group and then select the "General Options"
   secondary feature button.

3. If the "Automatic download start" checkbox is not checked, then click
   within the "Automatic download start" checkbox to enable the feature and
   click on the "OK" push-button to accept the new setting.

4. Retry your download.
