*** NI-DAQ Download and Installation Instructions

Thank you for using National Instruments NI-DAQ for PC Compatibles.   

NI-DAQ 7.2 for PC Compatibles works on Windows 2000/XP/NT.    
Refer to the readme.html file for more information on NI-DAQ and the devices supported.

The NI-DAQ 7.2 installation files are spread across two different volumes. The first volume, CD1, 
contains the components necessary for installing NI-DAQmx and Traditional NI-DAQ.  The second volume, 
CD 2, contains the components necessary to install NI-Switch and all of the NI-DAQ device documentation. 
If you only want to install NI-DAQmx and/or Traditional DAQ, you only need to download the first volume, 
NIDAQ720CD1.zip.  Note that when running the installer, you will need to deselect NI-Switch from the 
list the features to be installed.
 
Perform the following steps to downoad and install NI-DAQ:

STEP 1) Create a temporary folder on your local hard drive.

STEP 2) Extract the NIDAQ720CD1.zip file into the folder you created in STEP 1.  This will create the 
	installation files necessary for installing NI-DAQ.

Step 3  To install NI-Switch and/or the device documentation, create a second temporary folder on your 
	local hard drive and extract NIDAQ720CD2.zip into it.  This will create the installation files 
	necessary for installing NI-Switch and/or the device documentation.

STEP 3) To launch the NI-DAQ installer run the setup.exe program in created in STEP 2.

Step 4) To launch the Device Documentation Browser, run the setup.exe program created in STEP 3.
